Immediate Plans: Traditional Korean poetry written in Hangeul script prior to the twentieth century is targeted. Sijo of the Yi daynasty and kasa will be published. Sijo and kasa translations by Yosan, Choi Chang Ho, will be featured initially. He published many of his translation on the Korean website Internet Jiphyunjon. Jiphyunjon was the royal academy for the humanities during the Yi dynastry. Sijo of Hwang Jini and Yun Sundo each occupy a page in this website. Jung Chul's sijo and kasa poems are offered on a separate web page. Future Plans: Long term plan is to translate the short stories of Pak Chi Won, including two from the Rehe Diary. See the Blog on Rehe Diary in the left hand column. Korean sijo translated into both Japanese and English will be offered in a multi-lingual edition. This has been pioneered in the above mentioned website by Yosan, Choi Chang Ho. The late Yosan happens to be the father of the editor of this website. Couple of multi lingual translation snippets that appeared in www.jhj.co.kr are recreated below:
